The last race of the weekend was 21 laps under 22ºC weather and on a 41ºC track.
Toprak Razgatlioglu led Jonathan Rea and Scott Redding in to turn one with Axel Bassani behind them. Toprak Razgatlioglu went wide into turn eight at the end of the straight, allowing Rea to take the lead into turn nine, but Razgatlioglu held the inside line into turn ten and forced Rea to lean on him. Razgatlioglu held the lead into lap two. Scott Redding took second at the end of the start finish straight, but he went wide and Rea got back past to hold second place and allowing Axel Bassani into turd place. Into turn eight of lap two, Razgatlioglu went wide again and Jonathan Rea took the lead, holding it this time. Jonathan Rea set the fastest lap on lap two, a 1'38.256.
Lap three, Razgatlioglu was able to strike back into turn ten, taking the lead from Rea. Rea took the lead back into turn seven of lap four, pushing him wide enough for Scott Redding, who had passed Bassani earlier, to take second place from him. Scott Redding hounded Razgatlioglu on lap five, entering turn seven on his tail to take the lead down the back straight, but Razgatlioglu and Rea, after briefly swapping places back and forth with Axel Bassani, swept underneath to relegate Redding to third.
The battle among the leading four allowed three more riders join in, as Rea and Razgatlioglu swapped places back and forth in the lead, the pair inseparable. Michael van der Mark, Michael Ruben Rinaldi and Andrea Locatelli joined the leading four after the fighting lowered the pace enough. Razgatlioglu, Rea and Redding were covered by only a quarter of a second in the lead.
On lap seven, Toprak Razgatlioglu set a 1'37.968 without breaking free of Jonathan Rea and Scott Redding, but Axel Bassani in fourth place lost touch, unable to match the leading trio. Turn ten of lap eight, Razgatlioglu and Rea were side by side with Redding their tails, and Redding took second place into turn one of lap nine, taking his turn at attacking Razgatlioglu. Scott Redding passed Toprak Razgatlioglu, but he left enough of a gap into turn eight for Razgatlioglu to sneak under for turn nine. Lap nine and Redding snuck under Razgatlioglu in turn seven, leading down the straight and holding the lead into turns eight and nine to take the lead and take advantage of his better pace round the first half of the track without a big Yamaha in front of him.
At half race distance, Scott Redding led Toprak Razgatlioglu and Jonathan Rea with Axel Bassani a third of a second off the podium. Scott Redding, with clean air in front of him, set the fastest lap with a 1'37.716. Michael Ruben Rinaldi was over a second and a half behind the satellite Ducati of Axel Bassani. Another lap and another fastest lap by Scott Redding, a 1'37.635 increasing his lead over Razgatlioglu to over a second. Lap thirteen and a 1'37.615 put Redding a second and a half clear of Razgatlioglu and Redding, in spite of all three of the leaders setting their best laps.
Jonathan Rea took second place from Toprak Razgatlioglu into turn seven, but after the long straight, Razgatlioglu took it back on the brakes. Rea looked like he had more tyres left, but he couldn't beat Razgatlioglu on the brakes. With six laps to go, Razgatlioglu and Rea, covered by under a tenth of a second, were almost three seconds behind Redding. Into turn one, Rea passed razgatlioglu, but Razgatlioglu leant on Rea into turn two, and the pair swapped back and fourth until Rea held onto second place out of turn four, Rea's leathers taking a bit of a licking from Razgatlioglu's tyres.
Jonathan Rea, with three seconds and closing to Scott Redding, built a gap of seven tenths of a second over Toprak Razgatlioglu. Axel Bassani and Michael Ruben Rinaldi were riding around the same pace as Razgatlioglu, and weren't closing up their gaps. As the laps ticked down, Rea started lap twenty of twenty one over three seconds from Scott Redding with Toprak Razgatlioglu just over half a second behind him, but razgatlioglu wasn't closing enough to mount a challenge on the last lap.
With an uneventful last lap, Scott Redding won by around three seconds, with Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu unsurprisingly rounding out the podium. Axel Bassani finished within two seconds of the podium with Michael Ruben Rinaldi half a second behind him.
Scott Redding ended the weekend sixty six points off the lead with only sixty two points available, ending his unlikely hopes of a title. Jonathan Rea closed his gap to Toprak Razgatlioglu to thirty points, but with only two and a half races left, it's Toprak Razgatlioglu's championship to lose.
