Moto GP stewards
Got to hand it to those guys. Park on the track during qualifying? No problem. Cannon into two other riders on the first corner of the race? No problem. The track is so wet there's wheelspin in top gear? No problem. But they've really got an eagle eye out for the essentials ... "Aprilia’s Aleix Espargaro was deleted from the [FP2] times following a stewards ruling over a technical infringement with his RS-GP - ‘running with a rear water spoiler whilst using slick tyres on the front and rear"
FFS, Freddie. Just go. Now.
The Rules?
I believe the stewards are just following the letter of the law. It may seem unjust on this occasion, but if they ignore it this time and then apply it on another that opens a rather large can of worms.....
They did the right thing
They did the right thing Larry. You know they are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't. If they didn't they would be inconsistent, blind, stupid...which is what they are called no matter what they do.
