But then again, too few to mention. Pecco & the JMs on Ducatis gave me some. 508 I think, not enough, we'll see.

Quartararo very disappointing, racing incident. Patience Fabio Q. there were over 20 laps to run & 16 points is better than zero.

Marc is on summer break already and will be for some time.

Remy no points again, but a better result than his team mate Raul.

That's racing. Five weeks off is going to be a long wait.

^ I must admit I sincerely thought it humerus that Cloverleaf was screwed for not choosing Marquez, me sure to strong-arm my way ahead. Tip of the hat friend! I can't even pretend to be mad.

It is interesting to look at our Ivanhoe chart now that we are at Summer break. The Rookie pick is a bigger deal than one may have guessed, lovely Bezz at 55 points.

Only BossyBoss up at 3rd in the front pack doesn't have him (making her Top 5 even more impressive!).

Powervalve58 sticks out for a lone great read on A.Espargaro, who finished the half season shining brightest as a rather literal dark horse. Pvalve also seeing to not pick Marc, and going very Ducati heavy.

Just five readers correctly picked the leader right - The Boss, Guy Smiley, WW, Yud77 and St Stephen.

Brad Binder looks a solid choice for lone Cloverleaf.

For the first half of the season Ducati doesn't have the one standout in Pecco Bagnaia. The Red Armada DOES grab lots of points for you but from 3rd/4th/5th/7th/11th. Top Ducati ZARCO? Huh. Only one single reader picked the elder Frenchie, Zarco helping take KN58 to the pointy end of our leader board. WELL DONE KN58!

So can he stay there with Marquez onboard? Or will recovering yet hot/cold Martin, heretofore sullen Mir and Orange missile Binder rise now to bring 2021 Champ Cloverleaf to make a pass to lead? Can TheBossyBoss podium when Bezzechi is too and she has Remy?

Riesjart and Guy Smiley are lurking right there if they don't, that whole front pack is looking good.

It re-breaks my arm to say so, but Cloverleaf looks to be on quite a charge! What say you KN58? Good job up there.

And again, big thank you to our friend Ivanhoe for making this work. What a mensch.

Gratitude always to David Emmett for bringing us all here to regail in his Alien level site of analytical, investigative, good hearted, thorough writing and podcast. Collaborative too, bringing a wonderful circle of people together.

A Summer toast to you and this most interesting and delicious 2022 season!

Cheers

kudos for picking Aleix alone out of the crowd of us & Bezz with a small handful of others [all at the top!]

but, I have to ask.. ?  How did you decide not to take Quarty over, say, Luca ?  you would be the halfway leader with  666 !
