Half a point.
That is just insane.
Points gatherer
Just another rider who does not ride for the wins, but rides for points. Another undeserved championship imho.

silly comment
This is why no one would ever hire you ride professionally for them. Your job is to win Championships. Its amazing how many armchair racers are too selfish actually realize this.
And for the record, Biaggi won 5 races this year, Melandri won 6, and Sykes 4 races. The fact that Melandri finished 3rd in the title chase, but won the most races should be showing you that as important as wins are, they do not mean you win the title.

Pointless post
Hailers I think you are wide of the mark there mate, and only two stars after ten votes suggests that I'm not alone in my thoughts.
You are underselling Biaggi, and underestimating the level of competition he faced in trying to get wins each time he went out to race.
Perhaps you missed the Nurburgring round where Biaggi crashed out in a big way but remounted to finish in the points... those three points he picked up were rather important at the end of the season wouldn't you say?
A thoroughly well deserved title, well done Max. Great work too from Sykes and Melandri, and also Rea and Checa, it wasn't an easy ride to the title with those guys out there.
One of the tightest if not...
I can't remember ever a WC decided by half a point, that said, had Sykes pushed a little harder and got one more spot sometime back in the championship, only one more position, he would be WC today, but he suffered and was plagued by tire woes and races he simply faded.
ANd the championships is a very simple game:whoever has the most points win, even if he came second in every race.
