Takaaki Nakagami has topped the second session of free practice for the Moto2 class at Qatar, the Japanese rider benefiting from the track being cleaned by a good number of previous sessions. The Japanese rider just kept ahead of Tuenti HP 40 rider Tito Rabat, who was in turn less than a tenth quicker than his team mate Pol Espargaro. Scott Redding took 4th, half a second behind Nakagami but a good four tenths ahead of a big group of riders challenging for 5th, led by Julian Simon.

.186 difference in time for the top three.
Nakagami is really impressing me. The guy seems to be able to pull speed out at will. Waiting to see if he holds this in the race. It seems like he is set and ready to do so, but I am waiting for the race.
Rabat seems like he will be up with his teammate this year. Waiting to see how that turns out. He is a lot closer in speed this year compared to last year. I think he can maintain speed in the race
Espargaro still do not doubt him. I still put him at the top of the list to win.
Redding... waiting to see, not even concerned with anyone else at this point.
Just free practice sessions but the way they keep cutting chunks off of the time is exciting to me. Almost missed it thinking the practices would be around the same time as the European rounds (don't know what I was thinking).
Moto2 has been the main event for me for the past two seasons. The action in these races have been worth the time almost everytime.
Can't wait for the race!
