Honda WSBK Videos: Nicky Hayden Talks About His Debut, Michael Van Der Mark Talks 2016

The Ten Kate Honda team have taken advantage of the private test at the Motorland Aragon circuit to showcase their talent for promoting their team and the sport. This time, they have produced two video interviews with their 2016 World Superbike riders.

In the first one, Nicky Hayden talks about making the transition to racing production bikes after so much time in MotoGP, and getting used to working with a new team.

In the second video, Michael van der Mark talks about his first season in World Superbikes, the challenges he faced, and his hopes for 2016.

Hopefully Honda can provide these guys with a real competitive package. They have two solid riders so it's up to Honda to provide the best they can. I didn't spend the money on WSBK subscription this year, and that's a shame as the racing is almost always fantastic. I might have to change that situation next year.
Also, is it just me or does the livery and leathers remind anyone else of Aprilia?

Doesn't seem like he's messing around. It looks like he has the right attitude and he's ready to get the job done.

Go Nicky

I am glad to see Hayden in World SBK. There were no more top slots going to be opened to him in Motogp. Hopefully he can get to know the bike and I can get back to see him making podiums and even winning again. Excited to see how this season turns out. He should have been given a Lifetime achievement award for not throwing teams, people, or bikes under the bus. He shows true class.

Michael Van De Mark is getting stronger and stronger. What he did at Assen and another race was exciting. The bike looked like it was being pulled by his will to be more.

Between these two I can almost put money on the Ten Kate Honda team move forward in the standings.

Anyone know what is so different about NH69's use of the rear brake? they said they've had to modify it for his unique style

I remember back in his AMA days he was pretty spectacular backing the bike into the corners. Even a bit more than you see in the Moto2 class.

Nicky is Awesome. I'll be watching a lot more WSBK next year
