Alvaro Bautista beat his morning's time, but his lead over Alex Lowes and Jonathan Rea was slashed to just over half a second. Tom Sykes was fourth quickest, in spite of a speed disadvantage down the long straight.

Alex Lowes a new hope.
Alvaro Bautista now with even more top speed than fp1.
Alex lowes faster than Jonathan Rea in Two practice sessions, back to back, that's great.
If not for A.B.'s domination there would be great rejoicing. Well done Alex, he worked hard to get to this point.
Good to see "old" Tom Sykes up there at the sharp end & improving by a second a lap from fp1.
Eugene Laverty seems to be working out the V4R. That's good for the best 'tash in the SBK paddock.
Chaz went ok in the first practice then a gnat's whisker slower in fp2. What's up with the Welsh rider on the red dragon?
Thanks Jared.

Third round, after which an rpm chop is reviewed, right?
Think Alvaro would consider rolling off a tad on the straight until needing it? It sticks out like a sore thumb.
(250 revs are not so relatively significant - it is so far ahead in power, and I betcha they are already preparing to do so).
Bautista's weight
Alvaro Bautista weigh's less than Marco Malandri. If the Ducati is that fast what is Davies and Laverty's problem? Hard to understand the speed difference.
