Provisional 2023 WorldSBK Calendar Released: 11 Rounds Confirmed, 1 Still To Be Announced

The FIM have released the provisional calendar for the 2023 WorldSBK season. A total of twelve rounds are planned, with one round still to be confirmed.

The season kicks off in its traditional location of Phillip Island on February 26th, with a test in the week before the opening round. It then heads to Mandalika, before returning to Europe and the TT Circuit in Assen. Barcelona follows, then Misano, Donington, Most, Magny-Cours, Aragon, and Portimão, before the season ends in Argentina at the San Juan Villicum circuit.

The WorldSSP300 class is set to race at all of the European rounds bar Donington Park.

2022 San Juan Villicum World Superbike Race Two Result: Take Your Lumps

The last World Superbike race of the weekend would be twenty one laps with all but three riders on the SCX tyre. The air temperature was 27ºC and the track was 54ºC.

2022 San Juan Villicum World Superbike Superpole Race Result: Lap Record And Finding First

World Superbike's ten lap Superpole race took place at 22ºC with most riders on the SCX that Alvaro Bautista used in the feature race yesterday but Xavi Vierge fitted a SC0 while Redding had a harder SC1.

2022 San Juan Villicum World Superbike Race One Result: Hard Passes Necessary

World Superbike's first race out of Europe had five manufacturers in the top five places. Philipp Oettl had a three place grid penalty and the track had warmed up since terrible overnight weather with 49ºC track and 19ºC air.
