Another piece of the 2008 MotoGP jigsaw has fallen into place, with the report that James Toseland will definitely be riding a Yamaha in MotoGP in 2008, according to Dutch racing site Racesport.nl. No details as yet, but this leads us to speculate that Toseland will be riding the Tech 3 Yamaha, presumably on Michelins and with very heavy factory support, or possibly as a team mate to Jorge Lorenzo.
Racesport.nl is reporting that there'll be more information this afternoon. Any reports we get will be updated as soon as possible.
~~~ UPDATE ~~~
Official confirmation is starting to emerge, including stories on on the official MotoGP.com website, GPOne.com and Autosport.com, that Toseland will indeed join Tech 3 Yamaha, with team manager Hervé Poncharal being quoted as saying "Procuring James is a major coup for Tech 3 Yamaha and for the MotoGP championship in extending our reach into Northern Europe. It is an exciting time for us all and I am certain that he will be an integral part of the team's future."
