No Brands Hatch then? That's so stupid considering how many Brits there will be in the series.

Presumably Donington will be on the new circuit.

3 races in italy and only 1 in britain

a joke considering how big superbikes are here and how many british riders there are

Italian sports promotion company, special allowances for Italian manufacturers, control tire from an Italian tire company, and 3 rounds in Italy despite the fact that Superbikes has always been an Anglo-Australia-American sport.

It's time for the Flaminis to make some contacts outside of Italy. The world doesn't need another Spanish/Italian motorcycle sport.

I have a feeling they aren't turning down better opportunities to instead race in Italy. If they can fill seats while keeping transport costs down it just means more money for the series. It would be great to see them in South America and Asia as well. Though I think they'd end up with many of the less well off teams (too many of them these days) just skipping rounds that are more expensive to travel to. Whether or not other people could manage a production racing series better is another question. But I'm pretty sure that they aren't running an Italian entertainment charity.

How rediculous is it that Jonathan Palmer can let politics or his fallout with the organisers get in the way of running WSB at Brands Hatch, considering it was the biggest crowd puller with 126 thousand fans in 2007 when James Toseland won the double and the title, with those figures its the one circuit that should be holding the WSB series, not Donington, atleast Brands has the facilities for the fans and getting back out on the road isn't nearly as bad as some tracks ie. Silverstone/Donington. Bring WSB back to Brands Hatch PLEEEEESE!
