The plane carrying the missing cargo from MotoGP is about to land in South America, which has given Dorna the confidence to announce a new schedule for the Argentina GP at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit. More track time has been added, and the sessions reshuffled.
The Moto2 and Moto3 classes fill Saturday morning, with Moto3 kicking off at 8:15am for a 50 minute FP1 session. That is followed by 50 minutes of FP1 for Moto2, then both classes get 50 minutes for FP2.
At 12:35, MotoGP gets their FP1 session, a full hour. Qualifying for Moto3 and Moto2 follows, then another hour of FP2 for MotoGP. The day ends with Q1 and Q2 for MotoGP. Entry into Q2 will be decided by combined times in FP1 and FP2 for all three classes.
The action kicks off 10 minutes earlier on Sunday morning, with 20 minute warm up sessions for Moto3 and Moto2, followed by a 40 minute session for MotoGP. The race should then proceed as normal.
The new schedule appears below:

What if you want to have a big crash?
So go out, go fast, but not too fast. There's not much time for rebuilds in that schedule. It's like a club racing schedule when you're trying to do as many classes as possible on the same bike!
"The race should proceed as
"The race should proceed as normal"
Is that your April Fools Day post this yr then David? Clever reverse psychology. A sign of the times.
;)
2 Practices
Motogp only gets 2 practices? On a dirty track? I know the 2 & 3 will clean it, but not on the same lines. So you have FP1 to clean the track. FP2 to qualify for Q2. Must be April Fool's
with all teh stuff,
at least racing is happening.. tmi for all we have learned about 'freight forwarding' this week. have track promoters upgraded their track cleaning equipment since 2019 ? nice if they have & have spent Friday using it.. we've taken almost 4 hr from schedule for tires to put down rubber on track. maybe recent dirt at Losail & Mandalika has prepped the riders to handle the stuff. just hope that it does not turn into a crashfest off the race line.
Intrigued about FP2 immediately prior to Q1/Q2. makes me wonder about FP4 & would it ever set the ranking for qualifying ?
