The latest (and slightly belated) episode of the Paddock Pass Podcast is out. In this edition, David Emmett quizzes Neil Morrison on his trip to Le Mans for the French round of MotoGP. It proved to be an extremely eventful race weekend indeed.
That leaves Neil and David with plenty to discuss. First, there was the changing weather, which made setting up for Sunday's race difficult. Then there was Jack Miller's humongous crash at Turn 3, from which he escaped miraculously almost unscathed. There was the scintillating battle of the Movistar Yamahas, from which Maverick Viñales emerged victorious and Valentino Rossi ended in the gravel.
There was also the remarkable performance of Johann Zarco, securing his first podium in MotoGP and continuing his incredible progress. We also took a look at Ducati, and what could be ailing them, while noting that Dani Pedrosa came through a tough start to the weekend to end on the podium.
Naturally, we also take a quick look at Moto2 and Moto3, and discuss the causes of the first corner pile up at the start of the second lap. And as always, we finish with our winners and losers of the weekend.

A Zarco recipe
So I've been watching him race since he was battling Terol in 125's. Now with his sudden rush of fame I've had a few friends who watch MGP but not the "lesser" catagories ask me to describe this rider I've been a fan of. So I came up with a recipe and here it goes. Take equal parts Mike Baldwin's thoughtfulness, Wayne Gardner's on track stubborness, Norifumi Abe's courage & Valentino Rossi's race craft and mix to combine
How's that sound? ;)
Does anyone know if the man has still been able to abstain from owning a smart phone? Fantastic if so...
