2014 Le Mans Moto2 Race Results: The Race Tightens

Mika Kallio rode to his second win of the year at France's Le Mans circuit Sunday. Kallio, who started in fourth, won by a full second over Simone Corsi (2nd).

Championship points leader Tito Rabat finished in third. With the win, Kallio closes within seven points of Rabat for the championship.

Moto2 rookie Maverick Vinales, who set the fast lap during the middle of the race, took fourth closely followed by Luis Salom. Pole sitter Jonas Folger managed only sixth place, nearly four second behind the race winner. Dominique Aegerter -- who sits in fourth in the championship -- ended his race in seventh.

Thomas Luthi, Sam Lowes and Franco Morbidelli completed the top ten.
