Full Recap and Results Below:
The Marc Marquez Juggernaut rumbled on during MotoGP qualifying at the Sachsenring as the Spanish prodigy claimed his seventh pole position of the season. Marquez' time of 1:20.937 was enough to better Casey Stoner's long standing circuit lap record, which was set in 2008 aboard a Ducati with qualifying tyres, by a tenth of a second. Dani Pedrosa headed the time sheets early on but crashed as he was pushing hard on his second flying run, he ended up almost three tenths behind his team mate. Local hero Stefan Bradl took a deserved third place and completed the front row for tomorrow's race.
Aleix Espargaro will line up at the head of row two after he extracted the maximum performance from the super-soft rear tyre aboard his Forward Racing Yamaha, the Spaniard outpaced the factory Yamaha pairing of Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi who join him on the second row. Andrea Iannone, Pol Espargaro and Bradley Smith make up row three while Alvaro Bautista posted the tenth fastest time of the session. Andrea Dovizioso and Nicky Hayden both progressed through the preliminary Q1 session but were unable to make any real progress in the top-twelve shootout.
Bradley Smith would be an unpopular figure in the Tech 3 garage after the Briton suffered his fourth crash of the weekend, ruining his chance to out-qualify his rookie team mate.

Well that seems to be par for
Well that seems to be par for the course at the 'ring. Rossi on 2nd row should provide some fireworks. Crutchlow had another bad day & other Ducatis are not doing great either. Any chances of weather intervention tomorrow Jacob?
