After the customary hour or more of silence, as the riders waited for the sun to set, testing is currently in full swing on the second day at Qatar. Marc Marquez is fastest, and faster than the time set by Andrea Iannone on the first day. Jorge Lorenzo is not far off the time of the Honda, while Andrea Dovizioso follows in third. Track conditions are improved over the first day, the on-track activity having cleared much of the dust from the racing line.

Reality sets in.
Unlike the testing results we saw previously, these results are much more likely to reflect an actual starting grid.
I doubt Iannone will be in
I doubt Iannone will be in 17th after qualifying on a Grand Prix weekend. Also, Karel Abraham managed a creditable 15th yesterday, and he's a fair bit further down today (which, with all due respect, is a bit more likely).
In order of riders, maybe.
I have to believe there's more to be seen yet from this test. The riders are arranging themselves in a more familiar order, sure, but the results have been unremarkable.
The top nine qualifiers in 2014 broke into the 1'54"s. At this rate, I'd still expect plenty of improvement before they wrap up.
