2015 Sachsenring Moto3 Qualifying Practice Result: Incidents Fill Qualifying

By David Emmett | Sat, 11/07/2015 - 12:07

Results and summary of Moto3 qualifying:

Danny Kent has third pole of the year, despite a crash in the middle of the session. Kent tried to cut inside a slower rider, and ended up losing the front. Enea Bastianini put in a fast final push to close the gap to Kent, though the Italian is still over half a second behind him, and just a couple of thousandths ahead of Karel Hanika, who takes his second first row start on the bounce, having secured third on the grid at Assen. Hanika had also crashed during qualifying, but like Kent, did so without injury.

Kent ...

...just showed that he has overgrown this category literally. 22 riders in one second and Kent is over a half second in front of them all!!! I hope that he jumps Moto2 and go straight to GP.
