Results and summary of Moto3 qualifying practice:
Niccolo Antonelli has taken his second ever pole in Moto3, putting in a late charge to lead the way at Brno. The Italian held off a late challenge from Danny Kent, the championship leader coming just two thousandths of a second short of Antonelli's time, but starting from the front row. Jorge Navarro had a very strong qualifying practice, looking fast early on and promising pole, but losing out in the last part of the session. Navarro ended up just ahead of his teammate Fabio Quartararo, who had impressed early along with this teammate.
Kent's front row start is important, as it puts him in the position to benefit from a poor qualifying by his main championship rivals. Enea Bastianini ended up down in 15th on the grid, while Romano Fenati will start from 19th, after losing too much time at the end looking for a tow.

Livio Loi
Last week's hero kindled an interest in Moto 3 in me and I was disappointed that Lovio didn't do well. Watching QP closely I saw him latch onto Kent at the end of QP no doubt too orders. Well, he couldn't keep up with him though he posted his best times then. Perhaps his team should have selected a more reasonable tow that would have least put him further up the order. Maybe Livio is hoping for rain. The brief shot of him in the garage glued to his fan suggests the northerner is feeling the heat.
Great to see McPhee build on last weeks result
Top ten for the race would also be nice.
