Results and summary of Moto2 qualifying:
Tom Luthi has taken his first pole position since Qatar this year, the Swiss rider cementing a strong weekend with pole. Luthi was fast straight out of the box, and this ended up helping him, as spots of rain in the second half of the session meant that times were difficult to improve upon.
Johann Zarco will start from 2nd on the grid, the champion elect disappointed that he could not push harder on his fast lap, missing out on pole by a little over a tenth of a second. Alex Rins will start from 3rd, the Spaniard nearly half a second off the pace of Luthi.
