Comments

Comments on the race will be opened later, once things have calmed down. This in an effort to prevent me from having to spend all day policing comments.

Regardless of where you stand this is a horrible way for a championship to end. I felt poorly about the battle between VR46 and MM93 while it was going on in an anticipatory fashion. When it ended much worse.

This is a wake. We all care a lot, and have good reason to feel miserable. Arguing and lashing out on here would be insulting and there is little in it for anyone.

Valencia will be a sober experience. Even Lorenzo's joy will be hollowed. So sorry for ALL of us for such an end to a beautiful championship. Signing out until FP1 in Spain. Please be at your best my friends.

*Not slinging mud, just pointing out a technical aspect* At first I thought MM93 rode the bike back to the pits and quit because of how mad he was, and was a bit disappointed that he didn't make an effort to finish the race. Then, they showed the replay and I saw that the foot peg/brake (or left side foot peg/clutch?) had come Off of the bike and was laying on the pavement. So, there was no way he could continue safely riding.

I very much doubt his joy will be in any way hollowed.
