Sam Lowes has stamped his authority on the Moto2 class at Qatar by dominating the final session of free practice. The Gresini rider took the lead in the session early and laid down an imposing rhythm, posting a whole string of quick laps. He also managed to do it without crashing, a big improvement after crashing twice on the first day. The final few laps saw him lapping under the pole record, ending nearly two tenths quicker than his old record from last year.
Tom Luthi took second, continuing his strong weekend at Qatar, but two tenths slower than Sam Lowes. Lorenzo Baldassarri continued his strong weekend, taking third in FP3 just a few hundredths behind Luthi, and a similar amount ahead of Marcel Schrotter, the German making a big improvement. Jonas Folger was fifth fastest, while reigning champion Johann Zarco finished in sixth.

It's good to see Nakagami skulking around the top ten again. Love to see him at the sharp end again this year
P.S. Is the only Suter on
P.S. Is the only Suter on the grid that slow? What's the story? Don't believe #7EV can't ride and is level
Lowes
Lowes is looking like he is really taking to that new chassis he is on. Right now it looks like the only thing that may stop his progress is getting a little over
