2018 Sepang MotoGP Test Sunday 2:30pm Times: Marquez Quickest As Track Dries

The track is pretty close to dry now at Sepang, and testing is beginning to take place in earnest. As of 2:30pm, Marc Marquez was the quickest of the lot, just ahead of Maverick Viñales and Dani Pedrosa. But the dry track is changing very quickly, and the track is very busy, as teams squeeze as many laps as possible into the afternoon before the rain comes.

Dry track and 2018 has a green light. Except Smith perhaps.

It's hard to say who is riding what among the test riders. Katsuyuki Nakasuga and Kohta Nozane are Yamaha Test 2 and Test 3 respectively, but they are also swapping bikes and using the Yamaha Test 1 bike as well. So it's better to think of them in terms of bikes, rather than riders. That's what they are there for specifically.
