2019 Valencia MotoE FP1 Result: Garzo Opens The Show On Home Soil

The MotoE class started their final show of the year under the beautifully blue sky of the Ricardo Tormo Circuit and with a slight delay to proceedings. Once things got underway, Hector Garzo warmed things up, unusually on a Thursday, to lead the way after the first practice session at Valencia. The local favourite was closely followed by title rival Bradley Smith and championship leader Matteo Ferrari, the trio separated by only three tenths of a second. Eric Granado and Nicolo Canepa joined the top five ahead of Xavier Simeon, with Mike Di Meglio one step back on the leaders, almost a second slower at the end of FP1.
