Marc Marquez is currently fastest on the second day of the test at Valencia, the Repsol Honda rider continuing work on the 2020 bike. Pol Espargaro is in an impressive second place, working on the second iteration of the new steel chassis which KTM have brought for the RC16.
There have been a few incidents in the morning, with crashes and fires happening. Iker Lecuona, Pol Espargaro, and brother Aleix have all had crashes this morning, while the Hondas of both test rider Stefan Bradl and Marc Marquez have stopped with electronics issues. But Andrea Iannone had the worst of it, his Aprilia catching fire as he exited pit lane, causing a red flag.

Roasted Chestnuts
Just watched Iannone's fire...What happens when a bike hits the track (that doesn't happen when it is warmed up) other than engaging the transmission (and, eventually, more torque, lean angle and electronics support, I assume?) Iannone was exiting pit lane so I assume he hadn't "hit the track", yet. Just seems odd and an additional risk on top of the usual risks.
Forward momentum happens,
Forward momentum happens, making pools of fluid shift about. And engine braking when throttle is rolled off, when looking downstream before coming on to track, will cause a brief induction blowback.

Thank you!
Iannone was
at full throttle down the start/finish straight when the engine let go.
Mir
I'm looking for a big leap from JM36 with a little 2020 foresight. He will be taking the fight to MM by half season, imo...at which point MM will have about a 56 point lead but still
JM
thats a bit confusing JM i immediately thought of Jack Miller #36 is Mir.Thats short enough !:)
