Qatar Moto2 Test Saturday Times: Jorge Martin Dominates The Field

Jorge Martin's recovery from injury continues apace, the Red Bull KTM Ajo ending the second day of testing in Qatar nearly a third of a second clear of the rest of the grid. Remy Gardner ended the day as second quickest, building on a strong preseason, while Nicolo Bulega put the Gresini Kalex into third.

Joe Roberts was once again strong at the Qatar test, following up his fourth place yesterday with another fourth place today on the American Racing Kalex, and finishing ahead of Xavi Vierge and Marcel Schrotter. Rookie Aron Canet was once again the fastest Speed Up rider, just over half a second back from Martin.

Preseason concludes for the Moto2 class on Sunday, and the final day of the Qatar test.

Martin! 3.3 tenths gap in Moto2 now is tough to pull. The kid is just getting going. Right Ducati?
