As sunset approaches, the pace is starting to hot up on the first day of the final Qatar test. The Yamahas have taken over at the top, Fabio Quartararo leading the way ahead of Franco Morbidelli, while Pol Espargaro on the Honda is stopping Maverick Viñales from making it three Yamahas at the top. Viñales has been spending his time doing a lot of practice starts, something that was a weakness for the Spaniard in recent years.
The test concludes at 9pm local time.
