The MotoE class made its return early morning in Misano and after a slow start and to track action, followed by the reigning cup champion leading the way, Eric Granado picked up the lead for the final couple of minutes by a tenth of a second. Jordi Torres dropped to second, with current cup leader Alessandro Zaccone in third, three tenths off the lead. Miquel Pons and Dominique Aegerter rounded out the top 5 positions as the last men within half a second of the leader. Hikari Okubo an Matteo Ferrari were not too far off, while Fermín Aldeguer, fresh off a great weekend in Moto2, was on a roll in MotoE as well, 8th in FP1 and ahead of Lukas Tulovic and Mattia Casadei.
