The red flags in Moto3 had a knock-on effect through the entire morning of practice, eventually conditioning the MotoE E-Pole session. With rescheduled timings due to time lost, E-Pole was reduced to a 15 minute session, with riders restricted to a maximum of 5 laps on track.
Jordi Torres came out on top, taking Pole for the HP Pons team, just ahead of Eric Granado on the One Energy Racing Team. The numbers three and two in the championship will start ahead of the MotoE championship leader, Alessandro Zaccone ready to start this afternoon's MotoE race from third. The first MotoE race is scheduled to start at 4:20pm this afternoon, with the second race, and final contest of the 2021 MotoE championship, to be held on Sunday at 3:30pm.
