Pecco Bagnaia had a crash toward the end of the session, but got back on the bike and ended the session in third.

8 pairs by bike
16 riders paired on the same bike out of 25 total. What are the chances of that?
I guess 9 Dukes skew the odds somewhat, but even they're all tidily bunched together.
Looking forward to the statisticians amongst us giving the odds.

I'm preoccupied w the Test Tues/Weds, a BUNCH is going on.
It is a very good thing for Yamaha having Crutchlow racing from here on out - no better way to develop. He is a workhorse.
Look out for a happy, healthy fast Marc. He's back.
Bastiannini Sunday? Great odds!
Cheers
Crutchlow will have to use
Crutchlow will have to use Dovi's bike and engines.
Testing or racing?
Really not much point in him racing, is there? Bradl was saying yesterday that you could test or race, but not both at the same time.
Bradl is in the same position
Bradl is in the same position. If he takes Marc's place, he has to use Marc's bike and engine. All allocations transfer to Bradl for the duration of the substitution. Crutchlow will take Dovi's place for the rest of the season, engines go to Crutchlow. I'm pretty sure the aero too.
Morbidelli off to a good
Morbidelli off to a good start, hopefully a good weekened for him.
The test and then & then...
Yeah Shrink, the races on Sunday will be fun, but the test, hmm. The Marc will ride again. I predict the test will be announced to be a success for MM93. Marc will want to ride and race at Aragon. It's anti-clockwise, a left leaning circuito. I am feeling Marc will race at Motorland Aragon in two weeks time and then decide his next moves. May not want to do the flyaways.
Honda will certainly want their star rider at Motegi after no MotoGp there for quite some time. If he goes all the way to Japan he may as well ride. Then race.
M.Marquez, I think would love to ride Philip Island again after not racing in Oz since 2019. Well I imagine every racer would love P.I. perhaps I'm biased? D999 would like Marc to be there to.
The Test, Aragon and then Valencia might be more likely. Wheel see.
I cannot see MM racing a
I cannot see MM racing a round, and then taking a subsequent round “off”.
Yes GSP
Yes I agree GSP. If he comes back he will probably want to continue racing. When you love racing it is tough to miss a race.
Hanging around in airports waiting is a whole other thing & not much fun. Even VIP lounges, with good coffee.
If Marc is fit enough and feels good after the test, who knows. I imagine he would race at Valencia at least before the end of the season. Anti-clockwise and at home in Spain. Interested to see what does happen. Get the "Jaws" music cued up.
