2021 Jerez MotoGP Test Friday Final Times: Bagnaia Leaves Jerez As Fastest

Pecco Bagnaia heads into the long winter break as fastest, the Ducati Lenovo Team rider setting a fast time early in the day which would not be beaten. 2021 world champion Fabio Quartararo took second, just under half a second off the time of Bagnaia, and ahead of the Suzuki of Alex Rins. Pol Espargaro was the fastest Honda rider in fourth, while Maverick Viñales made it five different manufacturers in the top five, the Aprilia RS-GP rider ending three quarters of a second behind Bagnaia.

Testing is now complete, and the MotoGP paddock packs up for some well-deserved rest. They will reconvene in Sepang at the end of January for the MotoGP shakedown test, where the rookies will get another chance to ride, from January 31st to February 2nd, while the MotoGP regulars will take to the track in Malaysia on February 5th and 6th.
