Meet the new heavily
Meet the new heavily regulated boss, same as the old unregulated boss.
Sure the championship is closer than last year, but even with the new regulations - which I consider farcical - Rea is a cut above the rest.
WSBK has to pour new talent in, which I suppose is why they have instituted the 300 class, however you cannot cultivate talent overnight, so even if there is talent in the 300 series, it will take a lot of time to get to WSBK.
WSBK just might be in for a rough couple of years, especially because GP racing is considered more prestigious and a better sponsor strategy and is now combined with relative affordability.
That being said there was still some good racing this weekend, but unfortunately the last few laps are lacking.
