SSP speeds
I checked back through the lap times whilst watching Krumenachers sprint to the front. The 600's are faster around Donington than the 500 gp bikes were until they stopped racing. That shows the incredible level of the tyres and also the bikes themselves. I know the Foggy esses have changed slightly but the lap times are amazing. 1m 31.9 was Biaggis pole postion time in 2001 on qualifying tyres vs 1m 31.09 in superpole, Caracasulo was doing 1m 30.8 in the race vs Valentino doing 1m 33.05 in the race. The racing was incredible in both SSP and SBK on Sunday.. Checking the records for SSP shows that they have gone even faster back in 2015 1m 29.2 by Sofuoglu
